Happy Christmas, fellow wanderers!
What a busy month it has been! So many social happenings! No complaints, though, as it’s the only time I get to interact with people nowadays. *cue violins* Hihi.
I’m currently at the mall waiting for time to pass until the screening of Die Beautiful, which is like, an hour away as of writing. I don’t remember ever looking this much forward to watching MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) movies. Yes, plural. Just the other day, I watched Saving Sally with my PKFC friends and gosh was it the bomb dot com. Go watch it when you can. 🙂
Anyway, here are this month’s Happiness Inducing Things!
Behind The Blog by Kryz Uy
I’ve mentioned this in my previous blog. The book, to me, is a HIT mainly because it was a fun and easy read. Also, it’s the only book I’ve read this month hahaha
what a loser.
Mousepad from Papemelroti
Discovered this by accident while looking for Christmas presents a few weeks ago. It was so timely ’cause 1) my current mousepad’s already crumbling down, 2) I need this mantra in my life!!!
Side note: Papemelroti has been one of my favorite stores since childhood! CHILDHOOD, I SAY! I love that they use recycled materials. They’ve also been making hipster items way before the term hipster made its 21st century comeback.
Superdrug Tea Tree Skin Care Facial Cleansing Wipes
Purchased this a few months ago in Hong Kong. I just got them ’cause they had like a buy 3 for a (reasonable) price kinda thang. I was also running out of facial wipes and at that time, I wasn’t being given flights to London (where I usually buy my facial wipes). At Primark, you can get two 25-piece packs for 1 GBP. That’s like 30 pesos each lang!!!
Discovering facial wipes/makeup remover wipes have changed my life forever, you guise. It’s the perfect post-flight tool, especially when I’m dead tired and don’t have enough energy to go through the tedious process of washing my face. (And you can’t go to bed without removing your make-up! That is just eww-y! You’ll be waking up with a face full of pimples!)
Anyway, these wipes contain natural tea tree, peppermint oils, and Pro-Vitamin B5. Have to admit, the minty after-feel is a bit weird and makes me think that I brushed my whole face instead of just my teeth, but it doesn’t last that long and actually leaves my face feeling refreshed so yay!
YouVersion Bible App
I checked out my other blogs to see if I’ve talked about this before, but guys, this app is awesome!
As y’all probs know, keeping up daily morning convos with the Lord has been a consistent struggle of mine. It’s also just recently that I got to attend worship again, being on sick leave and all, so my Christian growth has been a bit stunted lately.
So yeah, this app has been a great adjuvant to my growth. I learn a lot from the daily devotions, plus the app reminds me to read each day. 🙂
This is such a handy plugin to have. It’s like a free, blog post-specific version of Coschedule. It helps me lay out my blog posts for a whole month (or year, whatever), which is nice ’cause I get to brainstorm ideas and see the flow of content. I find that my brain works better when things are organized, so this plugin is love.
That’s it for now, folks! Howboutchoo? What things have made you happy this month? 🙂
