Another year has gone by and I know we’re already 24 days into 2017, but better late than never, I guess. LOL.
Currently in Los Angeles after having just been here exactly 10 days ago. Apparently, this is how I roll now; a mainstay in Californ-i-a since I got my crew vis-a for the USA.
(K, I’m gonna end that there.)
I haven’t fully recovered from my previous trip yet, despite having flown three domestic flights in between. (I guess that’s the reason.) So this time around, I decided to just relax, stay in the hotel, and do nothing. And by nothing, I mean something productive like resuscitating this gosh darn blog and removing all the bugs that come with its inconsistent curating.
Happy 2016, fellow wanderers! A new year is upon us again! You know what that means? We are given another chance to lie to ourselves and to other people that we will finally make a change! LOLZ
How was Christmas and New Year for you guys? Happy? Eventful? Fattening?
If you were to ask me, mine was a bit uneventful. Christmas Eve found me taking a flight home from Kalibo to be with le fam. We just had a simple dinner at home this time around, as opposed to our usual dinners out or partying with fambam from the mother’s side.
New Year’s Eve was pretty… fun? Different? I was in the air when the clock struck 12, flying back home from San Francisco. So I guess I could say I spent the first few minutes of New Year somewhere between Russia and Japan? LOL.
“Company has given Abby her schedule! Abby is freeeee!”
Arrived from Abu Dhabi yesterday morning and am officially enjoying Day 1 of 25 of my (forced) vacation leave. I’m actually still not sure how to take this news. On one hand, SO MUCH FREE TIME! On the other, so less moneyz. Hahahuhu.
The past few days, I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with my schedule; whether to exchange some of my days off or use them to travel to someplace nice. Like a real tourist. I’ve already offered to exchange 2 of my days off to gain 8 more flying hours. So far, no reply. If I don’t get one before the deadline of exchanges, I’m thinking, meh, I’ll probably just stick with my printed schedule and enjoy it to its fullest.
I’m such a weirdo. A few months ago, I got so burnt out that I cried. And now my schedule is wide open and all I could think about is how to fit in more flying hours. WTH. But I guess it’s just because I wasn’t prepared for such a huge drop in productivity.
I now have so many ideas in my head! I’m inspired to make videos, record songs, write more blog entries, read more books, etc! It’s #bumlife2012 all over again and I’m just so excited! HAHAHA!
Any suggestions on how to make the most outta this bum life? Book/movie/blog suggestions? Places I can travel to without a visa? Places in the PH? (I want to go parasailing!) Do leave a comment below!
Gee! What a way to end 2015! 🙂
Planning to talk about my recent trip to AUH soon. Stay tuned! 🙂
Happy Easter, fellow wanderers!
I’m currently in my favorite city and I would just like to share with you the awesome things that have happened today.
Lemme first say that April has definitely started off nicely. My first flight for the month took me here and it’s been nothing short of wonderful.
I have been a bad blogger the past year and so to keep me sane (creatively), I made this video to document my 2014 adventures. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do better blogging-wise this year.
How be your 2014s, y’all? 🙂
I really don’t know how I’m going to start this without sounding repetitive (and possibly apologetic) but HELLO! ALOHA! MABUHAY! BONJOUR! I AM BACK!
It’s been a long, LONG while since my last blog. To be fair to myself, November 6 wasn’t actually my last entry. I had a series of (quite reflective!) entries at the start of 2014, but they were, unfortunately, deleted when my site was reverted to a restore point due to, err, evil forces on the interwebs attacking my domain.
But yeah, I am back! (How many times do I have to say this in a year?) I finally got the time to visit my slightly abandoned, slightly cobwebbed space on the… web. #WHAT I actually forgot my password and it’s only now that I found out how wonky this site has become in my absence. 12 new plug-in updates, links to posts returning a 404 error, etc. My gosh. This site has basically been a vegetable all this time! Felt like I had allowed part of my life to fall to pieces. (Wow, over-acting much!)
Anyway, I guess it’s time for an update? I’ll try to keep this post as short and concise (hey-o, new favorite song alert!). Here are 5 lessons I learned the past 5 months:
Things are looking up, oh, finally, sings Hayley Williams. A lot has been happening behind the scenes since my last legit blog:
Had a jam sesh with frands. Recorded this draft:
Went back to my alma mater to celebrate a victory. ♥
Toured the campus (so much has changed, huhu!), observed the culture, and hung out with friends! Lovely. I live for moments like these. ♥
