2014 Year In Review

I have been a bad blogger the past year and so to keep me sane (creatively), I made this video to document my 2014 adventures. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do better blogging-wise this year.

How be your 2014s, y’all? πŸ™‚

It’s not just a city, it’s a state of mind!

I’m baaaaack! Not only on the interwebs but in my most favorite place in the whole entire universe!!! πŸ˜€ I’ve been counting down the days leading to this moment and now I’m finally here again. Thank You, God!

(Recorded using my iPod and edited using the Splice app. Isn’t it marvy?!)

Auntie Baby and Kuya Benjie picked us up at La Guardia this afternoon and I was just sooooo ecstatic to see them. As I mentioned before, Kuya Benjie is/was my super quarter-life-crisis-make-the-drastic-move-to-New-York spirit guide. I’m glad to know he hasn’t changed one bit since then. He even added a new statement: “New York isn’t just a city, it’s a state of mind. Sure, you’ll want to go back to Manila, but once you’re there, you’ll always think about New York.”

Freaking true facts, man. Freaking true facts.

Anyway, I’ll try to upload more snippets in the next few days (also to help me remember). I might not document stuff as much as I did in Singapore (which I still haven’t finished blogging about, btw) ’cause I’ll be busy taking in the fullness of this city’s beauty. Hihi. TTYL!

The Great Singapore Saga: Foodscapades

It’s been two weeks since The Great Singapore Saga and I honestly do not know how to begin blogging about it. Everything’s a blur now, to tell you the truth, so I’m drinking teh tarikΒ to hopefully jog my memory.

Drinking teh tarik like a sir!

Anyway, the great gods of teh tarik have spoken (so fast, ha!) and they suggested that I blog in parts. So for this part, I think I shall blog about the food we ate. It was pretty well-documented. My travel buddies made sure of it. XD

WARNING:Β Image overload!

The Great Singapore Saga: Teaser

This was a video I made for VIDSTRM class last week. Our activity was on poem interpretation. I already knew about the activity beforehand so I chose a travel poem specifically so I could just take videos while on our trip. πŸ™‚

I wanted to make it better but I already got the raw files jumbled up, some even deleted. I so sad. But yeah, I only made this two hours before deadline. I had already made another one the day before but I decided to change it ’cause the background music was stressing me out. HAHA. So yeah, this was what happened. (I’m really being defensive ’cause I know this isn’t my best work!)

Anyway. Here it is. A teaser of sorts into the trip that was. More to come in the next few days. πŸ™‚

Thank you to my willing talents -slash- travel buddies -slash- beloved Gansa girls for being so game. :))

*** To those who got to watch this 11 hours prior, I am so sorry YouTube destroyed the video! @_@ It’s better now!

I’m alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic!

Hi! I’m just posting to tell you that I’m still alive. I know I haven’t posted anything substantial since my last (emo) postΒ and for that, I apologize. It’s just that I’ve been busy going on different adventures this whole month. (Chos!)Β

I can now tell when I’m busy. Aside from my room looking like a complete pigsty…

I also CAN’T BACKLOG ON TUMBLR ANYMORE OMG WHY. LOL. But anyway, here’s a quick recap of things that have happened and maybe stuff to expect in future blogs. πŸ™‚
