My name is Abby and I am the Window Seat Wanderer. Welcome to my little space on the interwebs where I mostly write about everyday things, spirituality, travel, product recommendations, pop culture, and many more.
I have always loved traveling — thus, the site name — and find that I come up with either the weirdest or most profound thoughts whenever I am in transit (and seated by the window seat). I love taking in scenery as well as people-watching, and I’m one of those who enjoy the journey as much as the destination. My love for travel has prompted me to get a day (?) job as a gravity defyer, and though it took me a while to get here, I feel like it has been one of my best decisions thus far.
I am an extroverted introvert, daydreaming realist, and procrastinating go-getter. I love art, music, movies, literature, pop culture, wedding SDEs, and having meaningful conversations. I love everything about the sky: looking at it, taking pictures of it, and being in it. I love puns, alliterations, and using the Oxford comma.
I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in January of 2010. It was during this time that I established a more meaningful relationship with God, as well as the real people in my life. I have been in remission for 6 years and counting.
God is the strength of my heart and without Him, I am nothing.
Come wander with me! 🙂
